Solitude

This was my final project for a cinematography class that was required for my graduate degree curriculum. When reading the project brief and began thinking of ideas for the project, one word kept coming back to me - solitude, but not the way you would usually think. I have always found a sense of solitude when out in the outdoors and when not being stuck on my phone. I wanted to capture a more positive, and less thought, version of what solitude is. In the video, I wanted to capture two ways I find peace in the outdoors - hiking and kayaking.
