Georgia Reptile Society - Volunteer PSA

This was created for a class project for MOME 729 at Savannah College of Art and Design with the brief to create a kinetic typography PSA showcasing a non-profit of our choosing and donate it to them after its completion. I decided to choose the Georgia Reptile Society because my mother is very involved with the group. The work is being told from her perspective about her experience as a volunteer foster parent, and with her being the subject of the video, I had her narrate it to have a more authentic feeling to the PSA. I created the patterns shown to look like some of the reptiles that the group works with such as bearded dragons, chameleons, tortoises, and boa constrictors, with a more natural, earth-tone color palette throughout the whole piece. The Georgia Reptile Society used the video on their social media accounts.
